Low Fat Dog Treats

Our treats are ultra-low fat (around 1% fat, ~1 kcal each) and use ultra digestible plant-based proteins, so many vets are happy for them to be used in moderation for dogs with pancreatitis or pancreatic insufficiency – always with your vet’s approval first.
Why W’ZIS treats work for pancreatitis-prone dogs?
- Independent lab test: crude fat 1.1% (as fed).
- That sits well below the <8–15% fat many veterinary sources recommend for dogs with pancreatitis.
- Each piece is around 1 kcal, so the absolute fat load per treat is tiny.
- Sweet potato flour, pea flour, vegetable glycerine, brewer’s yeast, vegetables and herbs, sunflower seed oil, minerals and natural flavours.
- Easily digestible fibre sources (less than 5%, as recommended by veterinarians)
- No meat or animal fat, no added sugar, no wheat or maize.
- Protein: 3.28% (Too much protein should be avoided in dogs with pancreatitis, but please ensure your dogs main source of nutrition contains 15-30% protein).
- Phosphorus: 0.27% – lower than many biscuit treats.
Used sensibly (a few pieces a day, within your vet’s calorie allowance), they let you reward and train without blowing the fat budget.
