Are they really only 1 calorie?
Yes. And our Wowzers are half a calorie. That means you can reward, recall, and bribe without blowing your dog’s daily intake. Still: calories from treats need to come off their main meals. Sorry. Maths applies.
What makes them hypoallergenic?
We skip the usual villains: beef, chicken, wheat, soy, dairy, and fish. Instead, we build around sweet potato flour (easy on digestion) and one clean protein source: pea protein. Fewer allergens, fewer dramas.
Do they taste good if they’re plant-based?
Your dog doesn’t miss steak when there’s umami. We use yeast extract (hello savoury depth), plus ingredients like pumpkin, chickpea flour, beetroot, red cabbage and tomato powder. Some flavours carry a smoky signature. And yes, dogs love them.
Why so firm and angular?
Because dogs don’t want dust. Our small rewards are hard, angular, and about 14mm wide. That firmness makes them feel more substantial in the mouth and slows down greedy gobblers. A bite that counts.
Do they help clean teeth?
They’re not dental chews, but the firm, angular shape means dogs crunch rather than swallow whole — which gives a little natural scraping action.
Will my dog just swallow them?
The W-shape and hardness discourage swallowing whole. Most dogs chew them properly — but if you’ve got a super-greedy gulper, supervise at first to be safe.
What about sugar?
None. No sugar, no molasses, no syrups. Sugar doesn’t make treats better for dogs. It just makes them worse for their teeth and waistlines. We don’t play that game.
Can I use them for training?
Absolutely. That’s what they’re built for. At 1 calorie each (0.5 for Wowzers), you can repeat behaviours a hundred times and not feel guilty. Tiny calorie, big learning curve.
When can I start giving them?
From 4 months old. Once your puppy is happily on solid food, W’ZIS rewards can slot into training. Just scale the number of treats to their size and calorie needs. Don’t train them into a balloon.
Are they vegan?
Yes. 100% vegan. Every ingredient is either plant-based or derived from plant ingredients. We don’t touch animal proteins. Which makes them safer for sensitive dogs, easier to handle, and nicer on the planet.
Will they maked my dog’s poo weird?
Only if you feed them by the bucket. Used properly (as treats, not meals), they’re digestible and won’t upset the back end. We test on willing dogs, not porcelain.
