We’re making a 30-second animated W’ZIS TV ad.
Yes, a real one. We know.
Have we got ideas above our station… probably?
It’ll be illustrated from real dogs.
Which means we need photos.
Of actual dogs.
Not models. Not influencers. Just… dogs.
If your dog has a face you love staring at for no reason, they’re qualified.
What we’re looking for.
Not perfection. Not tricks. Not obedience.
We’re looking for:
- Character
- Expression
- Dogs that feel like someone’s favourite thing
Big dogs. Small dogs. Dogs that sit strangely.
Dogs that look like they’ve seen some things.
What we need from you (the practical bit)
To animate your dog properly, we need clear photos taken in good light.
Nothing fancy. Nothing staged.
Just follow the guide below and you’re golden.

Photo checklist
Photos
Please upload 3–6 photos that include:
- A clear front-on face shot
- A side profile
- One full-body shot
- Neutral background if possible
- Natural light (windows or outdoors not lamps)
Things that help:
- Your dog standing or sitting still
- No heavy shadows
- No filters (Instagram can sit this one out)
Things that don’t:
- Blurry photos
- Costumes
- Sunglasses
- Other dogs / people in the frame
If you’re unsure, send what you’ve got.
We’ll take a look.

What happens next
We’ll review all submissions over the next few weeks.
If your dog is selected, we’ll contact you directly with next steps.
If not, there’s nothing you need to do. Please don’t take it personally — your dog IS gorgeous.
The decision is based on how different dogs work together visually in the animation, not on how “good” your dog is.
